RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems
  • Install, inspect, and test avionics equipment and components
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and operation of avionics systems
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accurate measurements
  • Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures for avionics work
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve avionics issues
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Avionics Technician or related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and avionics equipment
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and power tools
  • Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in avionics maintenance
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
  • Knowledge of CATIA or other computer-aided design software is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
