RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircrafts, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on aircrafts.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Read and interpret aircraft schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
  • Assemble and disassemble aircraft components for repair or replacement.
  • Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure proper operation of aircraft systems.
  • Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
  • FAA Inspection Autorization (IA) preferred.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for aircraft maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
  • Experience with soldering and assembly of aircraft components.
  • Overall mechanically proficient in many areas, someone who is used to “fixing anything”.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a relaxed, moderate-paced environment.
