RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircrafts, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on aircrafts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret aircraft schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft components for repair or replacement.
- Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure proper operation of aircraft systems.
- Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- FAA Inspection Autorization (IA) preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for aircraft maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Experience with soldering and assembly of aircraft components.
- Overall mechanically proficient in many areas, someone who is used to “fixing anything”.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a relaxed, moderate-paced environment.
